Planet earth is teeming with a large variety life. Not all of this life is visible to the human eye without the help of microscopy (Micro-organisms). Micro-organisms are everywhere all around us.


The natural life cycles demonstrated through the action of plants animals and microorganisms have helped our eco-system to reach natural equilibrium through out the ages. The natural biological process in the soil for millennia have provided food, crops and fuel.

Micro-organisms have played a vital role since the beginning. They are amongst the most adaptive and most resilient of all species. Micro-organisms are all around us. Species can be found in some of the most hostile environments on Earth. Some species have been found one mile down on the ocean floor near hydrothermal vents surviving temperatures of 110 degrees Celsius. Others can survive extreme cold, acid, alkaline, saline conditions to name but a few.
